Doing vs being. The doing state races tasks. The being state notices direction. Both matter — confusion starts when doing never pauses long enough to ask who you are becoming.
Is taking time counterproductive? Rush feels productive. Reflection often saves the expensive redo. Build deliberate pauses into the calendar before crisis forces them.
Technique I practice: short isolation blocks with one question written in advance — then return to execution with a clearer frame.
